PROGETTO COMENIUS
In
linguistico.

Some days
after our journey in Holland and the meeting of the Dutch and Irish students
who took part to the project “Comenius”, I’m thinking about the always great
experience of meeting new culture and people and of adapting oneself to other
habits and opinions, but also to a radically different land and climate.
Living in
a valley, we are used to see mountains everywhere and also to have the same
weather from the morning until the evening; and that’s why it was strange to me
to see so much sky and its whims, because in ten minutes it can rain, hail and
snow, but one thing is always constant: the wind blowing from the North Sea.
In my
opinion, Holland is a very strange country: it is set under the level of the
sea; this is the reason of its many canals which make the climate very dump.
We had
the occasion to realize it cycling every morning to school (it was really
cold), but also visiting the land, where there are many windmills to pomp the
water away and get some land to cultivate crops and tulips under the level of
the sea.
It was great
to realize that, despite many
difficulties and very few resources people can use their creativity to solve
the problems of nature to confirm the theme of our Comenius project: “poor in
resources, rich in creativity!”

Mi sono divertita
in Olanda.

I miss
the words, I can't fully express the emotions I felt
during that wonderful week.
Let me say thank you to all my classmates Tiziano e Stefano, Chiara, Laura e
Federica and my new , so called "Dutch and Irish friends" for that
unforgettable experience.
How many laughs, parties, journeys by bus, by train... Always with a smile on
our lips.
It is the spirit of the Comenius, isn't it?
Unforgettable afternoons spent at the grocery store with Abe in constant
search for something to eat;
The bike rides, soccer games, the evening at the Amsterdam ArenA...
A special thanks goes to the guy who hosted me, Matthieu and his wonderful
family, who made me feel at home from the first day, or rather, from the first
handshake and with whom I shared a lot of moments of my day despite my bad
English.
Nevertheless, they were always ready to help me If I couldn't understand
something.
Thanks also to prof.Baffelli, to Prof. Gheza and to prof.Martini, who have
given me the possibility to live this experience, these wonderful moments that
will remain in my heart, indelible, forever.
Thank you guys!
